This Museum was founded in the year 1926 and was first opened to the public in 1928. The Abbe Museum is named after its initiator- Dr. Robert Abbe. This museum is also home to Dr. Abbe, who assembled a collection of the early Native American artifacts that were found in the Frenchman Bay region.

Atlantic Brewing Company – Atlantic Brewing Company is a fun-stop and is located in downtown Bar Harbor. Visitors visit the ‘Atlantic Brewing Company’ for a remarkable introduction to the art of brewing.
