Economy Class flyers are permitted to carry one bag whose linear dimensions should not exceed 22 x 15 x 8 inches. The maximum permissible weight for such a bag is 15 lbs. In addition this, a diaper bag is allowed to be carried by passengers traveling with their babies. Also, duty free purchases in reasonable quantities can be carried as carry-on baggage.
Passengers flying with Business Class flight tickets can carry one briefcase with maximum dimensions 22 x 15 x 8 inches. The weight of such a briefcase should not exceed 15 lbs. An additional bag with dimensions 22 x 15 x 8 inches can also be carried with the briefcase. The maximum permitted combined weight of both pieces is 26 lbs.
Economy Class passengers are permitted to carry maximum of 50 lbs. as checked baggage; whereas the Business Class passengers are allowed to carry 88 lbs. of checked baggage.
The Brunei and international students traveling to the destination country of their study-place or returning to their home country are allowed to carry an additional 33 lbs. of baggage as checked baggage. For this allowance, the students need to present a valid student visa or Electronic Visa in the passport and also a valid student ID.
