Air Caraïbes is a French carrier that was founded in 2000 by the chief of the Vandee Family Grourp, Jean–Paul Dubreuil. It is a regional carrier of French Caribbean of Martinique and Guadeloupe. The airline’s main base is located at Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP) with its headquarters in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe and major hub at Le Lamentin Airport (FDF). The airline has code share agreements with Cubana de Aviación, French Blue and Corsair.

On Air Caraibes flights, only one luggage per person is accepted in the cabin.

If passengers are traveling on Transatlantic Network, they are allowed one piece of luggage up to 26 lbs. and an accessory such as handbag, coat, umbrella, books, camera and food for baby.

Passengers traveling on Regional Network are allowed to carry one bag which should not weigh more than 11 lbs.

Checked Baggage:

All passengers including Silver Status passengers traveling in Class Sun (Economic) are allowed to carry one bag that shouldn’t weigh more than 51 lbs.

Passengers with Silver Plus status, students who are between 18-25 years, Flexil subscribers or Gold and Diamond Preference status holders, traveling in Class Sun (Economic) are allowed two pieces of luggage of 51 lbs. each.

All passengers including Silver Status passengers, Silver Plus status and students who are between 18-25 years, traveling in Caribbean Class (premium economic) are allowed to carry two bags of 51 lbs. each.

Passengers with Flexil subscription or Gold and Diamond Preference status holders, traveling in Caribbean Class (premium economic) are allowed three bags of 50 lbs. each.

All passengers including Silver Status passengers, Silver Plus status, students who are between 18-25 years, traveling in Class Madras (Business) are allowed to carry two luggage weighing up to 70 lbs. each.

Passengers who are Flexil subscribers or have Gold and Diamond Preference status, traveling in Class Madras (Business) are allowed to carry three pieces of luggage weighing up to 70 lbs. each.

The maximum baggage dimensions allowed are 62 inches for all the classes.
