LIAT is an airline company that was founded in the year 1956 as Leeward Islands Air Transport Services. The headquarters of the airline are located at the V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua. LIAT flights fly on high-frequency inter-island schedule to a number of destinations in the Caribbean. The airline has its main base at VC Bird International Airport, Antigua and Barbuda and secondary base at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados.

Connectivity and Fleet Size

Travelers can make LIAT reservations to a total of 17 destinations in the Caribbean. You may book airline tickets to Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, San Juan, Saint Kitts, Saint Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. Vincent, Tortola and Trinidad.

Carry-on Baggage:

LIAT allows its passengers to carry one bag which must adhere to the following requirements –

The maximum weight of the bag must not exceed 15 lbs.

The maximum dimensions of the bag must not exceed 21 inches x 14 inches x 8 inches including wheels, handles and pockets.

A passenger may also carry one personal item additionally.

Checked Baggage:

Each passenger is allowed to carry one bag not weighing more than 50 lbs. An infant traveling with a LIAT flight ticket is also permitted one bag up to 50 lbs. The maximum dimensions of one bag must not exceed 62 inches.
